Craig Turner, Tina Turner's Firstborn Son, kills himself at 59

Tina Turner's son disappears at the age of 59.

Craig Turner died Tuesday from a gunshot wound he inflicted himself, confirmed the spokesman of the Los Angeles County Medical Examiner. The authorities pronounced his death at 12:38, after his body was discovered in his Studio City, California, residence.

The legendary singer has not yet spoken publicly about this suicide. Craig was the eldest of Tina Turner's two sons. She gave birth to him at the age of 18. His biological father was saxophonist Raymond Hill, but Ike Turner adopted him after marrying the star in 1962.

According to a Facebook page that appeared to belong to Craig, Craig worked as a real estate agent in the Los Angeles area. Tina appears on several photos published on the account in question.

A few hours before his death, the world-renowned artist was attending the Giorgio Armani Privé fashion show in Paris.
