Marvel will integrate "at least two" LGBT characters in upcoming films
Great news announced (half-words) by Kevin Feige, the director of Marvel Studios himself.
After the two recent successes of the firm, "Black Panther" and "Avengers: Infinite War", Marvel has unveiled some clues about his upcoming projects. And the least we can say is that they are big.
It is in the course of an interview with The Playlist that the director of Marvel Studios Kevin Feige released the news. While the journalist asks him if "LGBT characters are planned in the film universe Marvel", the interested replied soberly "yes", before adding that it would be "a character already seen, and of another totally new ".
For the first, Kevin Feige certainly refers to Valkyrie's "Thor: Ragnarok". Tessa Thompson, who embodies the warrior, said last October that his character was indeed bisexual. She had replied to a surfer on Twitter: "She is bisexual, and yes, she does not care what men think of her, what a joy to play this role!"
Information confirmed by the director of the film at the microphone of The Playlist a few days later, which explained that a scene in which a woman came out of Valkyrie's room had been cut in assembly for reasons still unknown to date.
The unknown character as for him, could appear in the next Marvel like "Spider-Man: Far From Home", "Avengers 4" or "Captain Marvel", but nothing is confirmed for the moment.
A decision still surrounded by mystery, which should however delight the fans already at the origin of many hashtags on Twitter requesting the integration of LGBT characters in these films. We can only hope that other franchises, like the saga "Star Wars", are inspired by it, because we are not the only ones to imagine Poe Dameron and Finn in couple.
Actor and director Bradley Cooper had a fabulous idea for his New Movie A Star Is Born, his first, but yet the fourth version of the story….
