Cait’s Latest Release “Forgetful” Melts All Stress Away
This song will make you forget all of life’s worries and fill your soul with a loving affection, as Cait’s passion for writing music seeps through your speakers. The lyrics inspire hope and Cait’s vocals radiate beauty, love and serenity. We all get burned out on life, and need a special friend or loved one to distract us from the hardships from time to time, and that is what this sweet song is about.
Cait is not only a talented musician, but also a visual artist, photographer, re-toucher and videographer, creating all the work for her music career. It is no wonder that Cait may know a thing or two about feeling overwhelmed, and needed some space away from her demanding tasks in life. In regards to the meaning behind the song, she states:
“When we wrote this song I was completely overworked. I had been traveling a lot, away from my boyfriend and dog and home, and I had way too much on my plate. This song is really about being able to call that person in your life who brings you out of your depths – a partner, a friend, a family member. Everyone needs someone to make them forgetful.”
