Anderson .Paak released a Video For His Lastest Track "Bubbling"
While working on his next album, Anderson .Paak has just unveiled a new unstoppable track.
After his collaborations (A Tribe Called Quest, Chance The Rapper or Kendrick Lamar) and his joint project with the producer Knxwledge under the name of NxWorries, the successor of Malibu is always more expected. To make it wait, Anderson .Paak had shared the sweet Til It's Over 'last March. He is back today with a new title: Bubblin, in which he abandons singing for a raw, incisive piece. The syncopated instrument of AntMan Wonder and Jahlil Beats allows .Paak to drop two nervous verses, and to recall that he is one of the most versatile artists of his generation.
Work of Calmatic, the video, which falls in surrealism and satire, makes a ridiculous society of consumption and ostentation American. The singer discovers a magic distributor of tickets that ends up killing him. A striking metaphor that is reminiscent of Childish Gambino's slap, This Is America.
A future album better than Malibu?
In an interview with Zane Lowe yesterday, Anderson. Paak spoke about Malibu's sequel: "I have 65,000 sounds, and no collaboration (...) Some are A Capella, uninstructed, others are 15 minutes. Believe me, I have what it takes, the project is quality, and should go through at least 6 summers. " An ambitious and promising project that Dr. Dre has also joined, helping with melodies, writing, sequencing and more. An album that is already promising but will compete with Malibu, one of Anderson's best releases of the recent years.
