Don’t Let Social Distancing Get You Depressed & Anxious | Here are some Tips
The world is in the middle of an Apocalyptic experience: The Corona/COVID-19 Pandemic. Most people weren’t expecting the situation to go that viral, especially Donald Trump. He wasn’t expecting the ‘Chinese Virus or Kung Flu’, as he calls it, to be that powerful, but it happened and the whole world is facing a major quarantine, to stay safe and lower the risk of contamination.
However, numerous people, even old ones - who are the most at risk - aren’t following the quarantine procedure, because they easily get bored, or they think they're being some type of badass — Justifying themselves with phrases like:
— "If I get Corona, I get Corona.
— “But It ain't gonna' stop me from enjoying myself"… Well 🤨
Yet Corona is a serious disease and it had already killed about 14 thousands people, worldwide.
It's understandable that isolation isn't easy, because you get lonely and depressed, especially if you don't have your family or friends around. A lot of people are alone at home, and they'd be glad to have someone beside them for comfort in such chaotic situation.
Tips To Depression
Nowadays, we're tremendously lucky to have social medias outlets to communicate with friends and families and we are blessed with medias service providers like Netflix or Spotify for entertainment. I mean, there are plenty of stuffs to do at home to cope with social distancing. For Instance here are few tips to cope with depression:
DO NO PANIC AND STAY CALM
At moment of crisis like this, certain people tend to dramatize everything. Indeed, It’s quite normal to be worried about contracting or spreading COVID-19, but it’s also important to remain wise about it. So when you’re having similar symptoms to Corona, it doesn’t necessarily mean that you have it. Maybe it’s just a simple flu, that’d be gone in few days. So stay positive and mature about the whole situation and don’t let your emotions — Fear, anger, frustration… — dictate your behaviors.
Interesting fact: Let’s say you only have a flu and you start panicking and rush to the hospital. You could be contaminated with the Corona Virus at the Hospital.

WORK AT HOME (If Your Job Allows It)
For certain jobs, you don’t even need to go out to have your bread. So find a spot in your apartment, where you can work without being distracted.
