London-Based Singer-songwriter OLI Wishes She Never Had To “Think About It”... But She Does.
Sometimes we think about overwhelming or even embarrassing things against our will because we have no control over our thoughts. This is the subject of London artist OLI's single "Think About It" - a soothing and reflective piece of indie pop.
The track has a balanced and colourful soundscape, with a small dose of 80s Pop. In addition, OLI's glistening and poignant voice, fits well into the production, generating a mood that is both even and glittering.
Besides, explaining the vision behind the track, OLI shares:
“There are days when you won’t have any control over your thoughts, you’ll think of anything and everything all at once,” explains OLI, “I wanted the song to show how that felt. When it’s late at night and all I can tell myself is ‘don’t over think’, whilst knowing I absolutely will anyway.”
