Singer-Songwriter Emily Shirley Releases Folktronica Single “Ghost Ranch"
Emily Shirley is a Connecticut born talent that has been immersed in church choir, musical theater, and Debbie Gibson since she was young. She is also classically trained on piano and a veteran of high school and college semi-pro acapella choirs. She truly found her place as a vocalist and writer when she joined the Boston based band Amun Ra as the lead singer, touring their soulful pop songwriting with breakbeats and electronica to clubs across the Northeast.
Ghost Ranch in Abiquiu, New Mexico is one of the most beautiful and cathartic places the artist has yet to visit. Emily explains that “it was the former home and studio of Georgia O'Keefe and the subject of many of her paintings. There's an introverted part of me that romanticizes this retreat into nature, art, solitude, and spirituality." Stream now and let this artist whisk you away to a faraway land.
