Rise Above With Alex Charles’ New Release “Lifted”
Mixtures of R&B, Electronic Pop, and Island vibes radiate throughout the production. The vocals are both sensual and catchy, and pair perfectly with the soothing melodies. The track features Christopher Scott, alongside American artist Alex Charles, who is based in Los Angeles. Alex has worked with Warner Brother’s music libraries composing music, as well as singing and producing on several spots for the Ellen DeGeneres Show. In regards to the inspiration behind the song, and drawing influence from artists like Ed Sheeran and Justin Bieber, Alex states,
“My team and I wrote this to be a celebration of good times, California beach vibes, and just overall fun. With everything going on, I wanted this song to be a getaway for my fans. Previous to this, I had been releasing melancholy R&B ballads and wanted to change up the pace with a new direction.”
