Lithuanian Artist Lucid Kidd Sets The Tone With His Single “Nothing Back”
With a musical style that mixes emo hip-hop with commercial pop, young Lithuanian artist Lucid Kidd presents us with a poignantly melodic track entitled "Nothing Back", in which he unleashes an array of emotional rhymes.
At only 16 years of age, young Lucid Kidd already has the world's spotlight on him, securing top spots on Spotify's hottest playlists, such as "Tears Drop" and "Rising Pop". Indeed, the track "Nothing Back", which is accompanied by well-calibrated visuals, describes the need to escape toxic relationships, fuelled by betrayal, hypocrisy and lies. The artist explains it in his own words saying:
"’Nothing Back’ is a song about the escape from betrayal. It depicts the vampires as these fake people that are always draining your energy and using you. The song expresses leaving all these vampires behind and finding your own path, because walking alone is better than being surrounded by fake people.
