Asha Gold’s “Passenger” is the second single from her upcoming EP. Gold’s voice is perfectly suited for these RnB-style tunes. The song has a cool style: a mellow, soulful, electric guitar and bed-spring reminiscent background sounds, that build into a creamy blend of fullness with sprinkles of clean percussives. I specifically like the deep bass that comes in the third verse, giving the song a distinct sound from others in the genre.
The lyrics illustrate experiences about love for travelling “you should catch me on a plane…” mixed with some personal lyrics “every time I start to feel I run away…” Gold certainly has flow, a skilled voice, and poetic lyrics, keep an eye on her!
