British Artist Beth De Bacci Addresses Mental Health Issues In Her Single “Monsters In Me”
"Monster In Me" is a personal song for British artist Beth De Bacci, as it reflects on the inner struggles she goes through every day. It’s also a song, which will inspire everyone, as we can all identify with what she is addressing. Basically it's all about mental health and the monsters she’s referring to are the likes of anxiety, depression etc.
Indeed, Beth offers a therapeutic sounding production, with soft piano melodies, accompanied by a lo-fi drum texture. The track has it all, and Jess' absorbing voice gives the production its glamorous texture. Of course, there is a hint of melancholy throughout the production giving it a suitable mood for songwriting. In addition, Beth offers a message to those who will listen to her song:
“I hope this track empowers people to reach out for help. Life can be so hard at times, but it can also be beautiful. It can be easy to lose sight of that when you're in a bad place, and I just want people to know that it's okay to need some support.”
