This 19-year-old “The Voice” contestant hailing from the UK is keeping her hot streak running. The dark pop artist Heather Jayne spoils her fans by dropping her 4th track of the year titled “Prize” following the release of “Better Than This”, “Let Me In”, and, “The Power”. Surprisingly here, her vocals shift to the background to make room for the instrumentals to lead and sustain the chorus, totally worth the listen. The musical buildup perfectly tracks the emotional build up in her voice. Plus, if you take the time to listen to the lyrics, they really do speak for themselves. Wise beyond her years, I think we can expect a lot from this up-and-comer.
