The Chainsmokers hit the road in their new Video "Everybody Hates Me"
After unveiling their new single "Everybody Hates Me" on March 16, the two DJs of The Group Chainsmokers decide to drop a music video for it. And the photo shared on their Instagram account was indeed an excerpt!
is The Chainsmokers craving for fresh air? The group unveiled its latest video "Everybody Hates Me" this Monday, April 2nd. And from the beginning of the video we quickly understand that both DJs want to escape. A video directed by Rory Kramer, to whom we also owe the last video of the band, "You Owe Me".
The two artists first take the road aboard an open Jeep. The clip then highlights images of them performing in a recording studio with a drummer. We can then see visuals where Andrew drown and then set a car on fire with his colleague Alex. It is also this image that served as a teaser on social networks to announce the release of this new song and clip.
The Chainsmokers: an interplanetary success
The reputation of The Chainsmokers continues to grow from weeks to weeks. The two DJs were performing at the Ultra Festival in Miami on March 24th. A crazy performance acclaimed by fans of electro that allowed their single "Do not Let Me Down" to pass the milestone of a billion views on Youtube.
After "Closer" and "Something Just Like This" in collaboration with Coldplay, this is the third piece of the pair to overcome this highly symbolic bar. The Chainsmokers thus enters the very closed group of 15 artists to have exceeded one billion views on Youtube.
