Diddy wants to partner with Jay-Z to create an app that promotes "black excellence"

Diddy, who is known the richest celebrity in the hip hop game, said that he wanted to team up with Jay-Z to create an app that would promote the black economy.

Diddy has a new project in mind. Very often considered as a major figure of "black excellence", the business man would like to team up with the mogul of music Jay-Z for the creation of a new application.

It would be for both artists to invest in the creation of a platform that would locate companies held by African-Americans in order to put them forward. What seems to be a form of targeted marketing should, according to the boss of Bad Boy Records, "make possible the idea of n economic community".
"The idea is that black People gain an economic influence"
In an interview for GQ, the 48-year-old spoke on the subject: "This is not about taking away from any other community,” Combs said - “We’ll still go to Chinatown. We’ll still buy Gucci! But the application will make it possible for us to have an economic community. It’s about blacks gaining economic power.”
If the process disrupts many Internet users who see it as a form of communitarianism, and in full context of social tensions in the United States, the artist said he wanted to be active in what appears to be a "psychological war". He added, “I don’t believe in passiveness,” Combs added. “At some point there has to be some kind of fight. I feel like we’ve done a lot of marching. It’s time to start charging.”
