British Singer Greta Isaac’s Latest Single “Like Me” Is So Infectious.

Through Made Records, the British singer Greta Isaac unveils her second single of the year, entitled "Like Me", following the single “Pessimist”. The lyrical content of the song is a kind of introspection about the inner battle or anxiety caused by the search and desire for acceptance and validation from others.

The production is extremely creative, displaying a fluid structure that oscillates from a soothing rhythmic pace to a more bubbling soundscape. Indeed, throughout the performance, you feel different emotions come over you, and you feel like your heartbeat is driven by the beat.

Moreover, this musical endeavor wouldn't have its dazzling allure without Greta's driving and sultry vocal tone. By the way, she confides, saying:

“We wanted something that sounded like anxiety, a quick heartbeat, that urgency. This rising panic. We just bashed it out in an hour. It sounded like a dance track that we were thinking of pitching to someone. But when we put the guitar in it became so gnarly," Greta remembers about writing it. "It’s probably the most on the nose in terms of just wanting to be validated and how that is my intention behind everything I do. But I still wanted it to sound like a euphoric release, for it to give you relief from any panic that I felt. I never get bored of it, I love it!"
