Rees Finley - Kill The Lizard

Rees Finley offers us a new single called "kill The Lizard" which is a beautiful mix of several genres of music including Electro-Funk, Synth-Rock and Power Pop. Indeed, just like in the previous track "Reckless", each instrument is played by Rees Himself. Which elaborates a great proof of its versatility.
From the Lyrical Side, Finley exposes the tendencies of his unconscious "lizard" brain while alluding to cultural phases such as the Wizard of Oz. In a subtle way, "Kill the Lizard" is a facade of Rees 'myriad of extra-musical influences with references to the influential psychologist Carl Jung, Julian Jaynes' controversial arguments; a quick gap on the Egyptian pyramids, and the psycho-spiritual concept of the Ego-Death.
